Disney’s Christopher Robin hit theaters in August 2018 and remains one of the CUTEST movies of that year in my book. I got to attend the red carpet premier in Los Angeles and the behind-the-scenes awesomeness are such great memories for me. That’s why I created this “Hunny” Snack Mix as a fun way to celebrate all of our friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.
Now that Disney+ is here, don’t you need a fun snack to enjoy with your favorite movies and shows? The answer is YES. You do.
I know Pooh usually enjoys his Hunny straight up but I think he’d approve of this, don’t you?

Ingredients:
4 cups honeycomb cereal
3 cups pretzels
3/4 cup whole almonds
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons honey
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 and line a baking sheet with foil. Spray with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, add cereal, pretzels and almonds and mix well. Set aside,
In a small saucepan, add brown sugar, corn syrup and honey. Mix well and heat over medium low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is melted. Watch this doesn’t boil too much, if it does, turn down the heat and continue to stir. Once all sugar is dissolved, pour over cereal and pretzel mix. Mix well to evenly coat.
Tiggers might not like honey, but we sure do!
Pour into prepared baking sheet and spread as evenly as possible.
Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely before breaking apart and enjoying snack mix. Pooh would approve, don’t you think?
Makes 8 cups
The BEST part of this snack mix is the way the baked-on honey clings to the crunchy-ness.
I think the almonds really make this awesome, plus, they add a bit of protein. If you’re looking for a nut-free option, you could omit the almonds and add 3/4 cup of another ingredient…either extra pretzels or cereal or something else entirely, like raisins or sesame snack mix. My kids go to a nut free school so in order for us to make this a lunchbox option, we have to leave out the almonds.
You can easily omit the almonds or substitute something else for them.
If you’ve found this helpful, please don’t keep it to yourself ;-)! Please share on Facebook or Pin and save for later! Thank you!
Disneyland closed the Haunted Mansion and It’s a Small World! Whhaaaat? Relax, they will reopen soon without Christmas decor for regular operation. However, there is no date yet on when these attractions will reopen. Regular maintenance is part of the Disney experience. Some things will be going down this year for a short time, others…
I totally forgot to go into my style profile last month and let my stylist (Camilla is baaaack!) know what types of clothes I was looking for in this month’s box. You’ll get more out of Stitch Fix if you let your stylist know what you’re looking for or what you don’t want to see….

Each park at Walt Disney World Resort has their own special brand of magic. Part of that magic is that there’s something to captivate everyone in every park, no matter how many times you’ve been to Disney or how old you are. There is more fun, happiness, and magic in each park to last for…
It’s been a while since we’ve seen those adorable red and white polka dotted cars driving around Walt Disney World and I’m excited they’re coming back after a long hiatus because of…well, you know. If you have questions about Disney Minnie Vans, operated by Lyft, I’ve got answers. We’ve used the Minnie Van service at…
By the time mid-October rolls around, the kids (and if you live in my house, the grownups) are getting excited about Halloween. We love Halloween but OMG the time leading up to the actual holiday is crazy town. Costumes. Parties. Candy. Crafts. If your kids are younger, trying to manage the whole “is this going…
