1. New York to Singapore

The longest flight in the world departs from JFK Airport in New York and lands at Singapore Changi Airport.
Traveling 9,537 miles, it beats the previous flight by just three short miles. This flight lasts about 18 hours and 50 minutes and is also operated by Singapore Airlines.
2. Newark to Singapore

Departing from Newark International Airport and landing at Singapore Changi Airport, this second-to-longest flight is operated by Singapore Airlines.
Despite being just a few miles short of the longest flight in the world, this flight lasts for 18 hours and 45 minutes and covers a distance of 9,534 miles.
3. Auckland to Doha

Another long flight from New Zealand is one departing from Auckland Airport to Doha’s Hamad International Airport in Qatar.
Taking over 18 hours to arrive at its destination, this flight travels a whopping 9,032 miles!
4. Perth to London

Starting at Perth Airport in Australia and landing at the busy London Heathrow Airport, this fourth-longest flight is operated by Qantas.
The flight takes about 17 and a half hours and travels a distance of 9,009 miles.
5. Auckland to Dubai

This flight route travels 8,577 miles over the span of 17 hours and 20 minutes and is operated by Qantas.

In tenth place, this flight is operated by Philippine Airlines, starting at Manila and landing at JFK Airport. Covering a distance of 8,520 total miles, it takes over 16 and a half hours.
