Disney’s Christopher Robin hit theaters in August 2018 and remains one of the CUTEST movies of that year in my book. I got to attend the red carpet premier in Los Angeles and the behind-the-scenes awesomeness are such great memories for me. That’s why I created this “Hunny” Snack Mix as a fun way to celebrate all of our friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.
Now that Disney+ is here, don’t you need a fun snack to enjoy with your favorite movies and shows? The answer is YES. You do.
I know Pooh usually enjoys his Hunny straight up but I think he’d approve of this, don’t you?

Ingredients:
4 cups honeycomb cereal
3 cups pretzels
3/4 cup whole almonds
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons honey
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 and line a baking sheet with foil. Spray with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, add cereal, pretzels and almonds and mix well. Set aside,
In a small saucepan, add brown sugar, corn syrup and honey. Mix well and heat over medium low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is melted. Watch this doesn’t boil too much, if it does, turn down the heat and continue to stir. Once all sugar is dissolved, pour over cereal and pretzel mix. Mix well to evenly coat.
Tiggers might not like honey, but we sure do!
Pour into prepared baking sheet and spread as evenly as possible.
Bake for 15 minutes. Let cool completely before breaking apart and enjoying snack mix. Pooh would approve, don’t you think?
Makes 8 cups
The BEST part of this snack mix is the way the baked-on honey clings to the crunchy-ness.
I think the almonds really make this awesome, plus, they add a bit of protein. If you’re looking for a nut-free option, you could omit the almonds and add 3/4 cup of another ingredient…either extra pretzels or cereal or something else entirely, like raisins or sesame snack mix. My kids go to a nut free school so in order for us to make this a lunchbox option, we have to leave out the almonds.
You can easily omit the almonds or substitute something else for them.
If you’ve found this helpful, please don’t keep it to yourself ;-)! Please share on Facebook or Pin and save for later! Thank you!

Walt Disney once said “Conservation isn’t just the business of a few people, it’s a matter that concerns all of us.” And, that’s true. I love seeing how enduring Walt Disney’s vision is and one of the ways that is happening is the elimination of plastic straws across the Disney properties. That’s right…there will be…
One of the most-asked questions I get about Walt Disney World is “What’s the difference between the Value, Moderate, and Deluxe resorts at Walt Disney World and where should I stay?” Disney puts out some amazing advertising that entices people to want to vacation at Disney, however, what you see in the advertisements are the…
Oh, adoption questions. When your family stands out or is put together a little differently, people are going to ask questions. Maybe they’re curious. Maybe they’re nosy. Maybe they’re just trying to make polite conversation. Maybe they’re genuinely interested in you. The questions can still be annoying. Here are the top six. Since we adopted…
Want to know a secret? I’ve been planning my holiday menus since before Halloween. Yes, I’m that person. This sausage sweet potato casserole is going to be breakfast on turkey day and it’s one of our favorites. My holiday menus always include a mix of old standbys and newer flavors. Some things you don’t mess…
Ah, fall. The crisp cool weather. Getting ready for spooky season. The turning leaves. The frosty mornings and sunny afternoons. The fun of getting my sweaters out of storage. The joy of slipping my feet into my cute fall booties. That all sounds great to me. One small problem: I live on the center of…
